One of the our goals is developing children's spontaneity.

Cherish each event, each moment, each day, and put "love" into each one of them.

Provding the childcare programs from a mother's point of view based on our own experiences.

Food is also an opportunity to learn, and children can learn a lot from eating together.

Japanese Early Childhood Education Program!

It is a combination of a licences childcare with experienced and certified Early Childhood Educators, a family daycare that is like a cozy home, and a Japanese language school that offers a Japanese early childhood education program.

While the maximum number of children can be cared for is eight, the number of staff on duty is two to three. By assigning more staff than the standard, we can provide care for 2 to 4 children per staff member, allowing us to give full attention to the children.

All teachers have experience working in preschools and/or childcares. Through reading Japanese books, children’s songs, hand plays, crafts, and other activities, we offer a program where children can learn the correct Japanese language and culture while playing and having fun.

GREETING

Message from Sakura Childcare’s Owner

Cherishing each event, every moment of every day, and pouring “love” into each and every child.

Cherishing each event, every moment of every day, and pouring “love” into each and every child.

Based on my own experience as a working mother with my own children in childcare, I established a childcare service where I would be happy and reassured to have my own children attend.

Childcare centers are places where parents entrust their beloved children, who are more precious to them than their own lives. For this reason, we, the teachers and staff, keep in mind every day that safety comes first and that it is very important to be a childcare that promotes children’s development and ensures their smiles keep on beaming.

As the owner and operator, my role is to create and maintain a positive circle of happiness: happy teachers make happy children, happy children make happy parents, and when parents are happy, I am happy.

With the children’s smiling faces as my motivation and inspiration, I will never forget our original purpose, strive to improve every day, and reinforce my determination to continue providing childcare services for as many years as I am physically capable.

INFORMATION

We are looking for little friends to play energetically and

cheerfully at Sakura Childcare!

An entire floor of the house (about 1000-1500 sq. ft) is dedicated to looking after the children, and there is also a large backyard for the children to spend their time in a more spacious environment.

The playroom has many books in both English and Japanese, age-appropriate toys and educational toys, and a large play area with a space for children to move around, even on rainy days.

In the backyard, there are slides, basketball goals, seesaws, playhouses, and other equipment that allow children to fully enjoy outdoor play without having to go to the park. Having a backyard means that, even when it looks like it is going to rain, we know we can take the children right back inside at any time, so we can continue playing outside as much as possible.

FAQ

Can I make a viewing?

Since COVID-19, online viewing is available only to families whose turn it is to receive an available spot.

What is included in the monthly fee?

The monthly fee includes childcare for each confirmed day, craft materials, and other materials needed for the program. It also includes field trips for which admission fees are not required.

My child is not yet potty trained, is that ok?

Yes, we support toilet training at our childcare. The best way to start training is for your child to become interested in using the toilet, so we will work with you to achieve potty training.

If my child is to attend childcare part-time, can I choose the day and time of day he/she goes to childcare and the time he/she goes home?

We will do our best to be as flexible as possible, but only during business hours and on the condition that spots are available.

For part-time positions, the day of the week must be confirmed, but parents can decide when to drop off and pick up their children within our hours of operation.

(e.g., 8:30 AM to 5:45 PM, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, etc.)

There is no change in the fee even if you shorten the time you attend the childcare. If you wish to change the day of the week or increase the number of days your child attends childcare, please contact us as soon as possible. In such cases, we will make every possible adjustment, but if you wish to reduce the number of days you attend childcare, written notice must be given at least two months in advance.

How is the order of the waitlist determined?

The waitlist is determined in the order of the date we receive each inquiry.
